Sri Lanka’s capital markets have the potential to play a transformative role in financing growth and attracting long-term investment. On Day One of the Sri Lanka Economic & Investment Summit 2025, organised by The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce, the sector deep dive “Capital Markets: Catalyst for Growth” will examine how equity and debt markets can support the country’s economic expansion while boosting investor confidence.

As Sri Lanka consolidates macroeconomic stability and pursues structural reforms, the session will explore opportunities for market re-rating, strategies to raise capital, and regulatory initiatives aimed at driving new listings. The discussion will also highlight ways to showcase high-potential companies, both established and emerging, to attract domestic and foreign investment.
