The Council for Business with Britain (CBB) of The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce is pleased to support an initiative aimed at restoring safe drinking water access for communities affected by Cyclone Ditwah in Sri Lanka. The initiative is being implemented by the Asia Pacific Alliance for Disaster Management (A-PAD).

This support was facilitated through funds raised at the “CBB Christmas Carols” event, with the Council directing proceeds from the annual gathering towards assisting communities impacted by the cyclone.

Through this contribution, funding has been provided to support local logistics and distribution efforts, helping ensure the timely delivery of assistance to affected areas.

The initiative focuses on restoring access to safe drinking water in cyclone-impacted communities, addressing urgent water, sanitation and hygiene  needs during the recovery phase.

The CBB remains committed to supporting initiatives that contribute to community recovery and resilience, while continuing to channel collective efforts of its network towards positive community impact.
