Following the successful facilitation of banking arrangements for Pilgrims who completed their Hajj in 2026, Amãna Bank has once again been selected by the Department of Muslim Religious and Cultural Affairs (DMRCA) to provide banking services for the Hajj 2027 pilgrimage.
The appointment follows a competitive selection process and reflects the confidence placed in the Bank’s ability to deliver a secure, transparent and seamless banking solution, on line with the expectations of all stakeholders including the DMRCA, Tour Operators and Pilgrims.
As part of this initiative, Amãna Bank will facilitate the opening and management of the Special Hajj Accounts for prospective Hajj pilgrims enabling the mandatory Hajj related payments to be completed within the set deadlines by the Ministry of Hajj & Umra KSA. The Special Hajj Account forms an integral part of the DMRCA’s enhanced Hajj management framework aimed at strengthening governance, transparency, fairness and accountability. This account enables the potential pilgrims selected for Hajj to conveniently make their mandatory advance payments for Hajj through a secure escrow arrangement, ensuring greater transparency and accountability throughout the process. The pilgrims will also enjoy a higher profit-sharing ratio, allowing them to earn attractive returns while awaiting their pilgrimage.
Further enhancing the Hajj experience, Amãna Bank will also be offering an attractive range of exclusive benefits for the pilgrims, including pilgrim-friendly travel accessories, preferential exchange rates on Saudi Riyal purchases, and a 10% cashback on debit card spending in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia during the pilgrimage.
